Everyone who owns a shod horse will have that horse lose a shoe at some point but do you know what to do if that shoe doesnt come off all the way. GET a shallow airtight container fill it half way with Coca-Cola. Let the horseshoes sit in it for a couple of hours wipe them off.
If all the rust doesnt come off the first time continue soaking until it does. It works because Ive done it on baked on pots pans. For the first base coat use a strong thick artists paintbrush.
